A Short Goalkeeping Session

Coaching under the mighty Warren Barton

It has been a great experience to assist under the mighty Warren Barton, and I look forward to the next season.  The youtube video shows how involved and passionate Warren can be, and it's a great example of coaching leadership and direction.  I'm on the bench as assitant during this game, but I was also fortunate enough to get a couple of minutes in at the end and made a couple of big saves.  Check out the video and I hope you enjoy.

Dynamic Warm-Up

A short goalkeeping video about warming up dynamically... Starting with an easy static basic ball handling drill, and working my way through a variety of more technically challenging drills.  This video shows a couple of drills that can be used to warm-up a goalkeeper dynamically, preparing the goalkeeper for the physical demand of goalkeeper training.

Working Hard

Early morning training session that involved some footwork drills, ball drills and fitness.  The session took about an hour and a half, and in the end it was a very effective and efficient work out.
